Fuh... lama giler tak pi jogging. Errr... brisk walking sebenarnya. Tapi when I briskwalk, it's always around 45 minutes, okaylah kan? <-------- ayat yang sebenarnya cuba menjustify ketidakberjayaanku nak berjogging heh heh.

Lepas jogging, errr... briskwalking tu, bersantap pulak nasi lemak taruh sambal kerang sama telur goreng. Apakahhh???

SkinFood Theraphy

Iya, SkinFood obsession saya belum berakhir. Malah bertambah parah lagi. Dari pendandanan muka dah jadi pendandanan badan. Tang rambut je belum pasal nak habiskan dulu Cik Bawang saya nih. Teringat pulak mesej Hari Ibu yang kawan ofis hantar. Katanya umur 20-an rasa mengancam, umur 30-an mencuba macam-macam. Betul kot ha ha. Ntah le, for me situasi saya umur 30-an ni yang menjadikan saya macam-macam, kombinasi cukup masa, cukup fund dan ada cukup motivation. When I was in my 20-s, combination tu tak terjadi. Ada fund, takde masa. Ada masa, takde fund. Ada masa, ada fund, takde plak motivation. Ada motivation, ada masa, takde plak fund. Gitulah. Ala... sapa-sapa yang belum masuk fasa macam saya nih mungkin tak faham tapi bila dah mencecah version melebihi 35, you'll know.

Anyway, these are what I got for meself earlier today.

1. Black Sesame Hot Mask - As the name suggests, memang panas muka kalau apply mask nih tapi the after-feeling syok. Ditambah dengan sedikit perasan (he he), kulitku rasa lembut aje. This it to replace my Rice Wash Off Mask. Bosan guna yang sama je.

2. Potato Pack - This is to be used after no 1. This one gel-like, sejuk aje kat muka. Sebelum ni tempel Fresh Aloe Pack.

3. Tomato Sun Cream SPF 38 PA++ - To be applied before going out. Last item sebelum letak bedak.

4. Grapeseed Oil Body Shower Gel - Soft and sweet smelling. I loikee!

And I got that super red, sexy vanity bag. Sanggup cukupkan sampai RMxxx.xx semata-mata untuk dapatkan beg merah ketot ini? Iskk... Sungguh terburu nafsu okay. Plus I got 2 sets of samples from their Black Raspberry line. Ini pon untuk orang-orang yang sudah menunjukkan tanda-tanda penuaan okay.

Err... sebelum sesi membeli sampai dapat vanity bag yang merah seksi itu, I have indulged in another session of SkinFood last month. Asalnya nak ganti Tomato Serum yang dah habis licin licau, and sudahnya I came back with these.. well, what's new kan.

1. Agave Cactus Serum

3. Fresh Lime Toner
4. Fermented Soy Milk Wrinkle Care Sleeping Mask

And got one small tub of Fresh Lime Body Lotion FOC. Suker! Suker!


SkinFood's Agave Cactus line is for ageing, dry skin. Thing is, when the products are for ageing, they are always a bit more expensive. So girls, start take care of yourself seriously even before you hit 30 okay.

I, for one thing, learn something from Tebby. He googles and wikis for more info when he finds anything new. So I wiki-ed and google-ed for Agave Cactus and finally got to know how this Agave Cactus looks like. Here's the photo which I googled..

Adam Is T.W.O

Adam, then. Si tembun dengan berat 3.74kg.

Adam is 2! Atas kesibukan (alasan?) dan kalut-kalut Ummi, tahun ni Ummi tak hantar apa-apa ke mana-mana pun untuk menyambut birthday Adam. Tahun lepas Ummi jamu kawan-kawan Adam di nursery. Tahun ni Adam dah duduk rumah aje, so jamu kita-kita ajer lah kot he he?

Untuk Adam, Ummi dah belikan (more like Ummi dah pesan kawan mintak tolong belikan) present. Something you can keep for a very long time and it appreciates in value as well (agak-agak Adam faham tak nih?). Tapi Adam tak boleh pakai taw, haram hukumnya. Kalau Adam nak present lain yang Adam boleh kitai-kitai, boleh lipat-lipat, boleh baling-baling, mintak kat Abah yer nak..

Adam sekarang ni banyak immitate Abangnya Iman. Dia lebih cepat belajar. Ye lah, dia ada 2 org 'guru' kat rumah. Tapi feveret dia ialah mengikut apa jua yang Iman buat. Makanya, kerja dia ialah mem'fire' orang, meninju Ummi (bergurau ganas dia nih) dan bergolek golek melakonkan adegan dari feveret cerita dia 'omemeng' (ultraman.. boys will be boys huh?) Tapi hati dia soft. Kalau kita angkat suara sikit, bulatkan mata marah dia, cepat aje dia meraung dan buat muka kesian.

Apapun, seperti mana-mana ibu pun, Ummi doakan Adam diberikan umur yang bermanafaat, sihat-sihat selalu, terang hati dan sentiasa menceriakan.

Bacakan perihal kelahiran Adam di sini dan sewaktu umurnya genap setahun di sini.

On Leave?

Application signed and approved by Mr General Manager on 7th May 2010. Will be submitted to HR once I get that post-dated cheque for my loan. Maybe today or Tuesday. I hope person-in-charge will issue an approval without much hassle.

I'm doing this for Iman and insyaAllah, while I'm at it, my other kids will benefit as well. Tipulah kalau saya kata saya hip-hip-hurray doing this. Having worked for almost 13 years, this is not easy. But a mother will do what a mother must do. If you're in my shoes, I'm sure you'll do just this. Some say, wahh... tak kerja? Sanggup ke? Bagi ibu-ibu yang seangkatan dengan saya, this is insignificant comparing to other moms yang lebih banyak berkorban. Like I said, kalau anda jadi saya, anda mungkin akan mengambil langkah yang sama.

I am sure the adjusting period will be quite hard for me. So Tebby, please bear with me, my emotions, my sighs, my nagging, because this is a new thing in my life. A new phase.

Self centered that I am. Talking about myself as a mother on Mother's Day. So, Happy Mother's Day to all mommies out there. We are special people, all in our own way. So, do feel good about it.

ps - For those who hasn't know yet, I am applying for a year off from the office to attend to Iman. InsyaAllah. Please pray that this will get approved at HR level pulak.

Chosen Ones

Ingat entry saya yang ini? Well, the same boy now, is such a chatterbox. Dah tak sepi lagi dah! Syukur alhamdulillah.

I remember his ST once told me, if you can find the key to unlock, I'm sure he'll talk. Kunci itu tak siapa yang tahu di mana. As a mother you know best. He left me perplexed, clueless. He's (Iman, not his ST, you silly!) talking now, night and day but if you ask me where's and what's the key, I just don't know! The closest I have (maybe), persistence, patience and passion.

For example malam tadi we brought him makan kat kedai. He ate and went to pee as well. Malam tu before bed, Tebby tanya if he has pee-d (this is his routine, sebelum tido bawak dia pegi toilet). He said 'Alaa abah ni.. kan tadi Iman dah ken**** dah. Kat kedai tadi tu' If I refused to do things he wanted, he'd said 'Ummi ni *naderr lah' *-->ngada

Like any other kids, I think semua budak akan melalui fasa suka ajuk orang cakap so he went like this, ajuk Umminya..

Tadi Iman makan apa? me asked

Other than that, he loves computer games. After being taught just a few times, he knows when to left-click and when to right-click the mouse. And knows that in absence of a mouse, he can always use the touch pad. Other thing he is interested in is KUMON activity books. I bought him coloring books (helped him a lot untuk kenal color, he knows the basic green, red, yellow and blue as well as black, brown, white, orange), folding books (simple origami I'd say). Problem is, he'd want to finish the whole book at one go. Fenat makcik melayan dia. In a way it helped boost his concentration.

I remember the other day I had him to trace 1 2 3. He flipped the book back and forth, again and again. He said, kat mana A? Mana A? A? Owh.. although he doesn't recognise (yet) all 26 alphabets, at least he knows some. Way to go Iman!

And alhamdulillah, when in public, dia dah boleh kontrol diri dia. He'd stay near with one of us. Tak macam dulu, berlari-lari ke sana sini without any care in the world.

Long and winding road it was for us. Still is. But alhamdulillah, we're chosen. My next mission is (1) to get him on the van en-route balik tadika and (2) to separate him with Kikkor, at least leaving that lembek, noseless, twice-sewn-back tail helpless little tiger at home when he goes anywhere.
