Boys Will Be Boys

Adoilah. Like father like son. Iman refused to sleep last night at the time he was supposed to be in bed. Blame it on Tebby.

Iman, bought himself an Ultraman, a complete set with a little monster. Kira boleh main fire-fire lah. Tebby, bought a set of Gundam. The kind of thing that you need to assemble. From the moment we stepped in back home, Iman has started bugging Tebby to start assembling the thing. Tebby, tho he was complaining about it, I think he was more than willing to start. Adam, of course was interested in checking in all things that we do, get to gomoi the kotak only. They only stopped for prayers, an evening joy, a trip to clinic for Adam's neb session. Otherwise he'd be assembling that thing. Under close supervision of Muhammad Iman. It was finally complete at midnight. Satisfied with the final output, then only Iman went to bed. *sigh*

This morning, we woke up at 6.20! Apa lagi, kelam kabut makcik okay. Kakak pun bawak bekal roti je hari ni hu hu.

Iman brought that thing along to Atfal today. I just hope Gundam will be back home in one piece!

Happy 8 Month Old!

Adam turns 8 months old today.

In just 4 months, he'll be 1.. how time really flies eh.

Resolution?

We ushered in 2009 with a bad news. News that made you think about your future, about how thankful with what Allah has blesses you with, relatively to others. But let's not go there.

We always make resolutions when new year comes knocking in kan. Let me tell you mine.

This year, I will take a better care of my kids schooling. Not that I did not last year but maybe what I did was not enough. I can't keep on blaming on the job I have or Tebby has. The system will not change for us, so we need to change. I will check on the kids' school progress, their homework, their tests and exams. It's only the 4th day of 2009 schooling and I've felt the blow. I hope I'd be strong enough to pave my way thru!

I will also take a better care of myself. You know, clean-toner-mosturize thingy. Plus scrubbing (I do not mean the bathroom tiles okay), masking and maybe a monthly body massage. And facial too. I will start taking jamu and enought supplement to make me glow, enough to shine Tebby at that too. I will eat healthily (and ensure my family do too) and drink enough water. I will dress myself accordingly. I will dress my age (35 that is). Not dress to kill laa but decent enough so I do not look as if I was going jogging in a mall. Yah people, no more tudung-senget, bedak capuk-capuk day.

And yes, latest one, me and my lunch-mates agreed that we should take-up exercising as well and work our ass at least twice a week. After office lah. Lunchtime is strictly reserved for makan and bersosial dengan kawan-kawan okay. *tunggu akak beli kasut dulu wei. in the meantime pse check your diary ek. u ol are busy people kan*

Ahh.. cukup ahh 3 je kan. Ni pun tah-tah tak terbuat hu hu..

Congratulations Tebby

Actually, I wrote a congratulatory note to Tebby and got it scheduled for publishing on the date he is officially in that position. Somehow it never appeared and I lost it altogether.

Tebby is transferred to our subsidiary, on loan basis and promotion. Of course it comes with extra-zing (as well as extra responsibilities). We hope, with that, I can take an unpaid leave without so much hurting our financial well-being. The first not-so-welcome perk is that, on Friday, he'd leave at 5.30 and not 5.00 as he used to and like I do now.


So, Mr Cip, despite that 5.30-thingy, a big CONGRATS from me.

Cuti Cuti Melaka - Day 2

Second day in Melaka.

Penat already.

We’ve just came back from kawasan Dataran Pahlawan. Ronda-ronda dekat area itu saja. With small kids in tow, susah nak bergerak as we wish. Nak kena ikut time and mood diorang jugak. Kalau tak, abis cranky semua nanti.

Tadi kami naik beca. Dah berlima ni, with accumulated weight maybe dalam 150++kg, kenalah sewa 2 beca. Iman dan Adam dengan Ummi. Kakak dengan Abah. Walaupun naik beca dan bukan berjalan kaki, penat lah haii. Lenguh makcik. Malam ni belum ada definite plan lagi. See lah how.

Cuti Cuti Melaka

Seperti dirancang, kami ke Melaka hari ini. In fact, saya sekarang updet blog di bilik hotel kami di Renaissance. Cadangnya tadi nak keluar sightseeing tapi Iman dan Adam dah melepek kepenatan. Sudahnya duduk dalam bilik sajalah. Dinner pun terpaksa in-room dining.

Kami sampai di tol Ayer Keroh sekitar 11 pagi tadi. Mengikut rancangan, kami ke Zoo Melaka sebagai destinasi pertama. Sangat ramai orang okay. Kereta pun kami park kat tepi jalan saja sebab parking memang dah penuh. Kakak, Iman dan Adam happy. Especially Iman. Walaupun banyak binatang yang dia takut, dia tetap menjengah kandang demi kandang. Masa kami tengok panther (thru glass wall), panther tu siap jilat2 bibir dia and unexpectedly tiba-tiba dia menerpa. Iman kat depan sekali time tu. Apa lagi, cukup ligat kaki dia berlari, walaupun sekadar berlari di tempat yang sama! Kami agak rush masa kat Zoo. I think Adam is allergic to somekind of animal kat zoo tu. Matanya jadi merah dan bertahi. Bila balik hotel, baik dah. Iman, he made my heart melt at one point in Zoo. He uttered his 2nd 3-word-sentence. Dia takut nak pegi dekat area tortoise. I coaxed him. Alas, he said ‘takot. nanti. keket’ (takut, nanti gigit) sambil tangannya dibuka katup buka katup. Owhh… sukanya saya. Kalau nak ikutkan, Zoo Melaka is better than Zoo Negara (I think), cuma yang jadi masalahnya ialah tak stroller-friendly. Bumpy ride. Udahlah stroller Adam tu set-set ViVa aje, bukan 4wd!

Perjalanan dari Zoo Melaka ke Renaissance tak begitu lancar. Congested. Nasib baik kami jumpa hotel first try. Kalau sesat time jem macam tu, tak ke haru. Check-in took quite sometime. Orang ramai sangat. Siap jumpa Santa Claus dok distribute gula-gula. While waiting in line, Tebby dukung Adam. Cik Mat senyum menawan tu biasalah meramahkan dia kat orang ramai. Nak tak nak orang pun terpaksa senyum dan tegur dia.

Belah petangnya kami tak ke mana-mana. Just turun swimming pool, or rather waddling pool sebenarnya. Makanya kami semua merasmikanlah swimsuit baru masing-masing. Iman mula-mula takmo pakai swimsuit one-piece dia tu tapi lepas dipujuk-pujuk dia setuju. Cuma dia tak berani nak tenggelamkan badan sampai dada. Sampai pinggang pun dia dah ‘takot’ ‘takot’. Kakak had splashing fun happy time. Punyalah susah nak ‘tangguk’ keluar budak-budak ni. Mula-mula lap Iman. Lepas tu lap Kakak. Bila siap lap Kakak, tengok-tengok Iman dah masuk semula dalam pool.


So far so fun. I hope the rest of our cuti-cuti Melaka is gonna be fun as well.
