Toddling Adam

11-11-2009, Adam is officially one-and-a-half year old. He toddles around, I guess that makes him a toddler, no longer a baby. We still smooch him like he is still a baby tho. I can't help baby-talking that sweet-nothings and offer him those wet kisses.

He shows what we can say as 'the dawn of independence'. No longer agrees to has his hands hold while walking. While he does so, he 'hi'es people around. Stroller has become as a mean to carry things around since he no longer wants to sit in it for long. He climbs onto chairs and tables. He shows tremendous sign as being a child of someone who works in the credit line, he loves calculator!

As a sibling to Iman, Id' say he fights fairly. Iman pushes him, he pushes Iman back. Iman detests having a competitor as an Ultraman, he 'fires' back. He takes Iman's toys and when Iman realizes, he hides those behind his back. But sweet little thing that he is, he still offers his brother, a wet brotherly smooch and a brotherly bear-hug. Much to Iman's irritation that he runs away. A little fighter that Adam is (as I mentioned before), he runs after!

Speechwise, Dr Nasir has warned us Adam's development so far is something we need to really be concerned about. As if understanding our worries, he suddenly adds up tutup, sakit, sudah, okay, atok, abah, kakak, abang, makan, susu and sosej in his vocabulary, among others. Hey, where's your Ummi, you young man!

And he's eating like a horse! I told you he's a fighter. Kakak and Iman has really healthy appetite and I'm glad Adam is catching up. An apple doesn't fall far from the tree anyway. No? Imagine the parents as tree, got it?

He adds up much happiness to our already merry little family. Of course there's sugar and spice, ups and downs of life but basically things are just nice. Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah swt.

Adam, we love you... muahhhhhh!!! *wet smooch*
