our first buka puasa outside

our kitchen was officially closed yesterday, hence we broke-fast outside. my husband had a meeting which ended at 6.30p.m. and after his asar prayer, we shoot off from office at 6.45p.m. to Bangsar. since it was already late, as expected, restaurants were overcrowded and people double-parked also. we managed to get to park illegally near a fruit stall and while we rushed to Said's, azan pun berkumandang. sib baik mmg ada tersedia kurma atas meja. so while we waited for the main course, makanlah kurma dulu. masa ambik Kakak and Iman, dah pun pukul 8+p.m. kesian diorang (but they were happy anyway) tunggu lama.

oh, i got my first batch of kuih raya already. 3 packs from yati. thanks yati. i've tested it last night. seeedaaaaapppppp. (che abang tu tanya ~ aikk, kata kuih raya, awat makan sebelum raya?) i told him we never know what's gonna happen in future. so while we have it, why dont we just savor it? (alasannn..).

anyway, the kids were behaving well last night (probably because i didnt know what they did ~ dozed off after munching yati's cookies). Iman ate tomato (which he pronounced as 'batu') and Kakak, she forced me to fold clothes so that she could help. Adehlah. but in a way, she did helped, last-last ummi dia terpaksa jugak lipat kain tu semua.

okay peeps, i have a meeting to attend today. satu hari punya meeting. hopefully it'll end puntually as planned i.e. at 5.00p.m so that we can go home and buka puasa with che abang's nasi goreng lobster (heh, tunggukan gambarnya esok ya!)

Semalam I sold (I helped sold actually) 31 containers of sambal tempe. Kalau sesiapa nak pesan, do leave a message in my blog. It's just that delivery terhad kepada bangunan office T* ini sahaja.













Anyway, contrary to my expectation, journey back home was quite a smooth one, with just the expected kesesakan to get out from the parking area until depan Mid Valley (kita tak leh komplen banyak2 kan) and the usual congestion near Tmn Connought, I got home at 6.50p.m. We could've been home earlier but che abang had to stay a little bit longer for a discussion. Kami bertolak dari Menara pukul 5.30p.m. Masa azan tu, baru siap goreng ikan and the water was almost finished boiling. Oh ya, semalam we had ikan cencaru goreng belah belakang, re-heated chicken soup, timun, sambal kicap, kurma and hot tea. Ada jugak beli lemang and some rendang for sahur esoknya. Kakak said no-no to dinner. Katanya dah makan kat school. Iman makan nasi gaul fish. That's my boy.. grow like a champion.




Last night while the kids watched 'banana is pyjama', mdh was slipping into ohlala land. He had bad allergic, with red marks and splotches here and there all over his body. (u know la ubat2 allergic ni memang buat mata pejam!). So he had to miss terawikh berjemaah kat surau tonight. Kakak pulak was bugging me to basuh kain sebab she wanted to help. I had to do 2 trips sebab ada kain2 lap which i always wash separately from other laundry. Belum lagi the 1st trip siap, dia dok lahh mengajak 'jom la, jomla ummi, jomlaa basuh kain'. Jangan dah besar nanti kena penyakit 'M' untuk tolong ummi sudahlah ya!
