The Return of Routine

After having the privilege of waking up late for almost a month, Iman is back in Atfal today. Luckily MakNoor, his favorite punch-bag is back to work after resting for a while from a fall that caused her vein moved from its location. Siti or MakSu, as the kids fondly call her, has gone to work elsewhere. MakNoor and Siti are Iman's favorite. He seeks comfort in Siti and throws tantrums at MakNoor. Choosy huh? I was so worried he's resist to be left or put a fight if he sees no one fimiliar. Thank God, MakNoor was there. She said she missed Iman so much.

We cancelled off our plan to leave the kids for a week at kampung. Kakak is having extra classes from today to Thursday. After a few crying sessions, sour faces and ugly resistance, she finally came to term with us. Only after we promised she could go back next week. (She already knows the art of negotiation) We're going to mdh's convocation anyway and won't be bringing the two so, that came as a blessing in disguise. Her teacher will prepare a week's homework for her to finish tho. And she could read! *I know some of you have kids that has begun to read at 4 or 5. But I can still be pround of my kid's milestone, ain't i?* She showed-off to us by reading the whole book1 of Peter and Jane. And she could read book2, a bit. Nevertheless, she's still not good at reading in Bahasa. Aida - true, I want her to be a good muslim no matter what profession she'll land in. I am trying so hard at times to remind myself that she's just 6yo and she deserves to enjoy her childhood and be a kid. If she grows up to be a super-kid, then alhamdulillah it's a bonus. I guess if you have good foundation in religion, other traits will follow suit. She recently announced she's going to be a teacher.

Anyway, last weekend was spent balik kampung. We sent my parents after they spent 2 weeks in KL, caring after Iman. So sempatlah melawat-lawat pokok-pokok bunga and plan which one to kidnap (plantnap?) later. I'm taking 2 two species of helicornias, perhaps the small Keladi Gajah and a few bulbs of Bunga Bawang. My mother offered anak pokok cili. I'm also eyeing for a few others *tamaknya daku*.

Okay, photo time... semua ni kat kampung.

Ada lagi gambar, I'll post later.

"She recently announced she's going to be a teacher."

err, excuse me, bukan semua kanak-kanak berazam to be cikgu cikgi during our childhood days? (that includes me meh).. tapi bila dah besar, rasa tak sesuai nak jadi cikgu, saya ni kurang sabar :)
